Question :

1. Do I have to sign up for a whole course or can i just take a few lessons with you?

Answer :

Whilst students benefit most from doing a whole course, I understand that sometimes this is not always possible so singular lessons can be arranged.

2. If I pay for the 10 lesson course, can I take more than one lesson in a week?

Answer :

Yes. Most students come once a week, while others come two or more times.

Question :

3. Can payment be made using credit card?

Answer :

Payments can only be accepted as cash or cheques.

4. Do I have to pay before the course begins or can I pay weekly.

Answer :

Only individual lessons can be paid weekly. Course fees must be paid on or before the first lesson.

5. Can I sit in on my child's lesson?

Answer :

I don't encourage this because it is quite distracting for the child but I am happy for parents to join the lesson in the last 5 minutes if the parent wishes to hear what the child has been working on.

6. If I miss a lesson can I make this lesson up without being penalised?

Answer :

Make-up lessons will be given only if cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson time. Make-up lessons must be made within the 10 week course time.

7. What happens if I cancel on the day of my lesson?

Answer :

If this happens you will lose that lesson. Special consideration will only be given in exceptional circumstances.

8. I have classical voice training and would love to sing pop and jazz. Can you help?

Answer :

I have helped many students cross over from classical to jazz. Proper vocal  techniques are essential to all genres. Stylising and feel are the main differences. I have extensive experience in all styles of music including jazz, pop rock, and R & B etc.

9. Do you help with auditions and preparations?

Answer :

Some of my students have gone on to study music and musical theater, in various universities world-wide. I have helped prepare them for entry to these universities. I can also help prepare singers for various audtions including musical theater, club gigs, and recording.

10. Do you accept students with no singing experience?

Answer :

I have many students who come simply for the joy of singing. These students are usually surprised at how quickly their voices improve.
